An adventure inside an adventure awaits!

OK, so here we go. Today we are going to be driving from our (or my uncles) weekend house to Praha (Prague). Actually we are going to go to a sub-burbs of Praha called Komorany. Last night we had a discussion where my father asked me to put in Komorany in the GPS part of my phone and I did but it was going to a different sub-burbs of a different city that just so happened to have the same name. Well in Europe (and I did not know this) this happens a lot so you have to append the sub-burbs name with the major city like Praha. WOW that was a discussion and both my uncle and my father thought that my phone was a piece of trash. Until I found out what it was that they were talking about fully I was dumbfounded as the same GPS map that I was looking at was the same thing that they were using on my uncles laptop to find directions. My phones map and the laptops map were off from each other by a few hundred km (kilometers). A bit of a surprising shock? Yes! That was a great conversation. Once I found out all the way what they were talking about and made the correction on my phone both my phone and what they had on the laptop was the same.

So for today we are set to drive the newly verified on the phone and on Google Maps route to Praha. We are not going to drive directly into Praha though as we do not want to worry about parking and securing the car all the time. So we are going to go to a burb of Praha and then take the Metro in to do our walking around and staying. We shall see what it is like and lets all hope for our sake that it is a wonderful, uneventful getaway. We have our papers (as if we were a certified pedigree and some might say that yes we are nearly certifiable), a car, phones, maps, camera's, Euro's, and our desire to see the world.
