Salas!

This is what my uncle told me of the sheep in the summer. they are known as Salas. That means that it is when the sheep are penned up in a open field and daily or a few days of the week they are led out to pasture somewhere else or herded up a hill some where. I think it is that they sheep herders are payed to have the sheep come and mow someones grass instead of get out there with a lawn mower. Here is a picture of them as well as a video. Notice in the video the sound of the bells. Every one of them had a bell around it's neck. It was so very cool to see and hear them.
