We decided this weekend to do a home improvement project. This one was to put a back splash up in the kitchen. I did not think that it was going to take this long or be that hard. I was wrong. There is a lot of waiting for stuff to cure for sure. Here are the before and after pictures of this project also. I had a lovely assistant while doing this also. While we were doing this DIY Sunday project I felt closer to Starky. I was cutting stone and was thinking about him and how he might have cut it before there was electricity to use wet saws. It must have taken a long time to do this kind of thing.
