West Coast Roots Showing
So I have been lax in not posting in a long time and well there have been a lot of things going on in my life so forgive me. Items like getting a promotion at work, working even harder, how we went on vacation to Italy over the summer, having a little girl join our family. These are all very big things.
I recently went out to California again for business and my destination was the Sunny San Diego. I mean WOW! I thought that I really liked San Francisco. This place is so way cool. While there on work (and it only saddens me that it was a short visit and I wish that it could have been longer) I did not get to do much site seeing or a few hour excursion. It would have been nice to but again the trip was for business not pleasure. Oh well. Any way that place ( San Diego ) was wonderful. The people were nice, the hotel that I stayed at was nice (the Catamaran Resort), the weather was wonderful. As I was driving into the office the first morning there I stopped at the beach (from which I was not very far away from) to see the business men walk across the street from where they had parked to have their surf boards in hand to catch a few morning waves. I thought that was very cool. The whole time there I could also not stop from thinking that my brother in-law would love this place if it were not so expensive to live there.
As I was there the whole time I kept thinking to my self that WOW, this place is great. I do not know why I have not come back to California sooner. I feel as though my roots of that state were calling me back for some reason. I do not know how to explain it but deep down in my mind and soul, I was being called. To kind of steal from James Taylor and his song titled " In my mind I've gone to Carolina " well instead of Carolina, I've gone to California.
Until next time.
