Lets see I know it has been a while and well I must say it has been crazy this last couple of months. November was full of weekends going to this party and that party and filled with building a fence for the house and going on trips for work. Thanksgiving was filled with the family that I have and for all that I have been graced with in life. December was a month of more family trips and well craziness at work. My boss is no longer with employed at my work and I have had to step up to the plate. I can say that I was sad and shocked to see him go so quickly but at the same time I was a bit nervous that he left. While he was trying to gear me up to replace him from the time that I got there, he was a great person to work for and a good friend. I learned a lot from him. He will go down as one of the few bosses that I enjoyed working for. From there he and I both have been given a blessing in disguise. He so that he can go back closer to home, where I think his heart really was in the first place, and then for me in affording me the opportunity that I have been looking for some time now. I hope that with this added responsibility I can prove to those above and around me that I can handle it and run with it in the manner that I can grow personally and professionally. Enough about that.
So for Christmas (yes I said CHRISTMAS!) I got some cool stuff. First and foremost I got a Zen Vision W. It is so cool. I can watch movies on it, listen to MP3’s or WAV files, listen to FM radio on it and store all kinds of pictures and calendar events and tasks and well just about anything really. It has a 30 Gig hard drive in it and I love it. The screen is pretty cool to. (Thanks B.!) I also got some music and a movie to go with it. There are some other things that I also got that are cool and nick knacky and well some what up my ally. The ones mentioned above are the ones that stick out the most though. I think the other two things that I got that do happen to stick out are two hats. I got these because I showed up at a parade in Pittsboro with half a hoody that only covered my ears, so I guess it only seemed fit that some people got me a full hoody that covered my whole head.
So as the new year is upon us what have I learned. Well for one I have leaned to never use an internet lender like lending tree when trying to buy a house. We of course did not use them but some one that was buying our old house did and well it was HELL trying to close. I have learned that I should never work for a small local county government office because I am not a political person, I am a person that is about getting the job done. I also found out that I am a big entrepreneur at heart and should work with more people that are from the northern part of the states or ones that have the same visions as me. I know that there are many more things that I have learned this year but all in all the lessons in life will prepare me for lessons later on. He who shall be named all the time “GOD” would not give me something I could not handle.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! Good luck and best wishes to all in 2007.

I have learned not to post emotional baggage or specifics you're trying to 'process'-especially if family members are reading. I have also been reminded how important making space in my life for family is to my mental health. Finally, I've learned that my husband's lack of interest in food also extends to travel. Where are we going already?
